Vanguard: Create Your Plan/Is Roth Right for you?*

This workshop is intended for team members who want to learn more about the Roth feature in their FedEx Retirement Savings Plan (RSP). Learn who should (and who should not) consider making Roth 401(k) contributions, the basics of Roth 401(k) contributions and distributions, the benefits of tax diversification, and how Roth 401(k) contributions will impact your take-home pay vs. pre-tax contributions. This course will also cover the fundamentals and key considerations of the FedEx 401(k) Roth feature.

Healthcare is an important factor in overall retirement planning and a big expense. To help with that cost FedEx offers a Retiree Health Premium Account (RHPA) to eligible team members. Learn about RHPA eligibility requirements, how the benefit works and where to go to find medical, dental and vision plans in retirement.

So how do you stay healthy throughout retirement without breaking the bank? A health savings account (HSA) might be the answer. An HSA is a savings account outside of your retirement plan in which you can save money on a pre-tax basis to cover your medical expenses now and in the future. During this session, you’ll get an overview of how Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) work, their advantages, and how they can fit into a retirement savings plan.

Vanguard: Timeline to Retirement*

This workshop is intended for participants 3 to 15 years from retirement and will review the key benefits and decision points from ages 55 to 72. Attendees will learn about two federal entitlement programs (Social Security and Medicare) and the rules regarding employer-sponsored retirement plans that can help participants avoid significant tax penalties on withdrawals.
